Point to Ponder: Day 1

This is an idea that I struggle with on a daily basis. I have lived almost everyday of my life with the attitude that it is all about me. This has led me to a spiritual crisis in which a new way of viewing the world is needed. Even if I look at the seven aspects of holistic health there is only one that is about other people, Relational. And it is really just about being around other people. Even God could find meaning only in becoming a servant. The purpose of holistic health should not be for the glory of the individual but for the service of the neighbor.

My prayer for today is that I learn to serve in love.
Lord, help me to do so now.
