Point to Ponder: Day 18

This chapter talks about a lot of the issues of community that God has been revealing to me lately, the need for honesty, reciprocal relationships, sharing each other’s pain and offering mercy. Without these aspects of community you have nothing.

I do not like large groups of people that I have never met. It is hard for me to be open and social in that setting. I do however crave true community and intimacy with others. I desire so much to have a community that is honest, loving and forgiving.

There have been times in my life when I have had this community and there have been times when I have not. As a fiercely independent person I need genuine community to balance my soul.
